We have been brainwashed. Since the day we were born all we have been told was: “This is how the world is. That is how it works.” And thus we know no other way to perceive the world. We have been given a manual of the world and have been taught, if not forced, to behave in accordance with the instructions. Divergence is not tolerated. This feels as though we have all been caught in an entangled web, through which the world is felt and perceived. Such a blurred image! What we see is a mere rendition of what lies in front of us.
Now if one, a Messenger, were to make us conscious of the errors in our perception, one would have to abolish all our previous beliefs.
With severance comes great pain; and “old habits die hard.” Yes, to part with old beliefs is the hardest, but most necessary of goodbyes.
